Community feedGot a new Trachy the other day. I’m absolutely amazed at how big these things can get. This is like the size of a dinner plate
I recently acquired a baby yellow tang for my tank, but my purple tang has been exhibiting aggressive behavior towards it. It chases and bites the baby tang, prompting me to create a DIY acclimation tank. Additionally, I purchased a mirror to attach to the tank’s glass. Considering these factors, how long should I keep the baby tang separated from the purple tang?
🌎🐠 Happy World Reef Day! 🪸
Every coral in my reef tank started as a tiny fragment of a living reef somewhere in the world. Today, this aquarium is home to more than 100 different corals, fish, starfish, sea urchins, hermit crabs, shrimp, and countless other reef inhabitants.
Coral reefs cover less than 1% of the ocean floor, yet they support nearly 25% of all marine life. They protect coastlines, provide food and livelihoods for millions of people, and create some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.
When ctmck shares a reef update, it will appear here.
