Zero algae and amazing water clarity? Any tips?

Main thing is just don’t overthink it! Dont stress yourself out always testing parameters, daily glass cleaning when i get home and thats abt it lol. I dont use any additives. But main thing its setup in my very dark basement with little to no light activity and no one really goes down there unless its me. So levels stay pretty solid.

How old is ur tank?

User Avatar @StonedCoral420 5d

A few years old

No way! That thing looks like it's a month old! 😛 I use a Kessel A360WE and everything is happy, all LPS softies and a BTA. My water is 18" from the surface to the sand bed for reference

Brand ?

Go for a popbloom reef led, they’re very good and affordable

User Avatar @carpetsurfer 4d

I've heard great things about these, I had a RedSea RL60 and the popbloom is supposed to be basically the same thing with a different app.

Yea I feel they’re cheaper but have the same lighting spectrum
