My sons betta. Have had him for 5months now before his beautiful fins became beautiful. He was just a tiny guy when we first got him. His tank mates are with a Cory catfish , a big ol’ snail and a balloon body Molly.

Yes I know they do, and I’m planning on updating my son’s tank with live plants this weekend when we go to the lfs and getting the fake stuff out. The fake plants came with the tank, and kids get excited and want to throw anything and everything in there. 😂 he’s learning. Thanks for the concern and advice. Much appreciated

For a kid's tank looks awesome. But please try to get him into some plants and away from the plastic. They tend to be detritus traps. Plus there's nothing like planted tank. Especially once it becomes established you barely even have to touch it
Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely get him to the next level with that.
