You know???..🤔🤔 my GSP looks something like that. Very separated pours. I don't know if it's because I've brushed it with peroxide a long time ago to get rid of GHA. My GSP didn't die, but when it grew back. The pours on my GSP are very bumpy and different. But it's alive and well. Yours has a good color. I say as long as its little tentacles are thriving, let it be. enjoy it..🙂

Not the separation I had just disturbed them so they closed I was asking about the new growth that's normally purple but very green in the right pic. A buddy said it happens

I’ve never seen the neon green new growth but looks cool haha

I see what you mean about the color difference. GSP can totally look a bit different even just a few inches apart depending on flow and lighting. Sometimes if one side is getting more blue or UV it pops super green while the other side stays a little duller or even leans brownish. Have you changed your light spectrum or shifted the rock lately? I had a patch do something similar when I tweaked my PAR and the polyps facing more direct light went way brighter. Also check if the polyps are just closed up a bit on one side. Sometimes detritus or low flow can make them pull in and look less green

That GSP is looking super bright under your blues! Sometimes you get a patch that stays a bit lighter or a different shade, especially if the flow or lighting is a little different on that part of the rock. As long as the polyps are extending like that, I wouldn’t sweat it!

My GSP has taken a while to start growing but now that it is it's the patch at the top. Definitely paler, close to white.
