Dicas de alguém que tem o aquário Fluval Evo de 13,5 Gallon com o mini Fluval Sea Protein Skimmer? Eu não tenho ideia se o meu tá fazendo algo e não consigo deixar a água subir alto o bastante pra encher o copo. Eu comprei o skimmer pq eu tava vendo uma película oleosa em cima da água e, enquanto eu ajustava a direção nos mini propulsores de água, melhorou um pouco, mas não foi o suficiente.
Tips from someone who has the 13.5 Gallon Fluval Evo tank with the mini Fluval Sea Protein Skimmer? I have no clue if mines doing anything and I can’t really get the water to go up high enough to fill the cup. I got the skimmer bcuz I was getting an oily film on the top of my water and while adjusting the aim on the little water pumps helped a little it didn’t do enough.

Tem aquele tubo com a válvula que entra na tampa também?
It has the tube with the valve that goes in the lid as well?

Eu consigo ver água perto da base do copo quando eu olho por dentro, mas nunca enche a parte central nem chega na parte de baixo dela. Não sei se isso faz sentido
I can see water near the bottom of the cup when I look inside, but it never fills the center part or even touches the bottom of it. Not sure if that make sense

Eu deixo o meu totalmente aberto e ajusto onde ficam os níveis com o botão do lado de onde o copo encaixa.
I have mine set full open and adjust where the levels are with the knob next to where the cup goes.

O botão ao lado do copo abre e fecha uma portinha atrás da saída de ar. Mesmo totalmente aberto não alcança. Com ele totalmente fechado é a mesma coisa. Ou até meio aberto. Se eu soubesse que ajustar esse treco ia ser uma dor de cabeça, eu não tinha comprado 😣
The knob next to the cup opens and closes a little door behind the vent. Even if it’s fully open it doesn’t reach. Same if it’s full closed. Or even half open. If I’d known tuning this thing would be such a pain I wouldn’t have gotten it 😣

São as bolhas. Eu ajusto isso com o botão que fica ao lado do copo de coleta. Tenta deixar elas com esse aspecto.
Those are the bubbles. I adjust that with the knob thst is next to the collection cup. Try to get them to look like that

Beleza, aqui vai. O amarelo que tá aí agora é só mancha de uso anterior. Eu só vi ela chegar a uns 1 cm de água, e foi no segundo dia que eu tinha comprado, já faz mais de um mês que eu tenho. Talvez funcione e eu só esteja pensando demais, mas pra mim as bolhas não parecem subir o suficiente. Elas não ficam no copo de baixo como na sua foto.
Alright here you go. The yellow in it now is just stained from previous use. I’ve only ever seen it get about a cm of water and that was the second day I had it, I’ve had it for over a month. Maybe it does work and I’m just over thinking it, but to me, the bubbles don’t seem high enough. They aren’t in the lower cup like your photo.

Você consegue coletar alguma água amarelada/marronzinha no copo de coleta? Parece ser difícil de ajustar, mas acho que funciona.
Do you collect any yellowish/brownish water in the collection cup? They seem to be difficult to set but seem to work.
O meu tá ajustado pra as bolhas que ele faz subirem até onde parece ser a parte de baixo do compartimento que coleta a água amarelada.
Mine is set so the bubbles it makes come up to what looks like the bottom of the part that collects the yellowish water

Eu nunca vejo água nele. As bolhas que eu não consigo fazer chegar na parte de baixo do copo, como você falou. Seja qual for a regulagem ou o quanto meu aquário tá cheio. Agora ele tá meio amarelado em volta da base, como se tivesse tido água ali uma vez, mas nunca mais.
I never see any water in it. The bubbles I can’t get to reach the bottom of the cup like you said. No matter the setting or how full my aquarium is. Right now it’s stained yellowish around the bottom like it had water in it once but never again.
