O dipX de coral Red Sea pode matar a torch? Comprei ele há uns dias e já tô perdendo 2 heads. A outra torch tá indo super bem, então não sei por que essa aí não tá indo.
Can Red Sea coral dipX kill the torch? I got it a couple days ago and I’m already losing 2 heads. My other torch is thriving so not sure why that one is not doing that good

Às vezes parece que tá morrendo, mas na real é que ainda não ajustou. Pode levar de 3 a 5 dias.
Sometimes it appears as though when in reality it’s just not adjusted yet. May take 3-5 days.

Qualquer dip pode matar coral. Eu prefiro dip de iodo. Ou Reef Primer. O Dip X funciona muito bem pra pragas, mas não tanto pra tecido morrendo ou infecção.
Any dip can kill coral. I prefer iodine dips. Or Reef Primer. Dip X works great for pests but not so much for dying tissue or infection

As torch estavam cheias de planárias, por isso. Se elas parecem bem, sem praga visível, eu geralmente dippo depois que elas já se adaptam no aquário.
The torches were full of flatworms that’s why. If they look fine with no visible pest I usually dip them after they got acclimated to the tank.

Qualquer fator que adicione estresse na torch, seja mergulho/dipping, luz, fluxo, parâmetros da água, temperatura etc… pode matar a torch. Tenta descobrir o que tá causando o estresse e eliminar.
Every factor that add stress to the torch, be it: dipping, light, flow, water parameters, temp. etc... can kill the torch. Try to figure out what causes the stress and eliminate it.
Com certeza foi o transporte + o dip. Eu literalmente adicionei 3 novas torch naquele mesmo dia que eu dippei todas elas e em poucas horas elas começaram a perder heads… bem triste, mas pelo menos aqui na Indonésia tem bastante delas a um preço bem barato 😅
For sure it was the shipping + the dip. I literally added 3 new torches on that same day that I dipped all of them and within hours they started losing heads…very sad but at least here in Indonesia there’s plenty of them at a very cheap price 😅
