Talvez pareça ich? Perdi um casal de palhaços pra ich. Tentei conviver alimentando bem com comidas misturadas com alho, mas no fim acabei pegando outro casal que também teve ich mesmo com uma boa dieta. Em vez de deixar eles morrerem, eu comecei um aquário de Quarentena. É muito ruim ter que ficar com os peixes no qt por 3 meses, mas fiquei livre de ich desde então. Porém, a não ser que eu queira fazer quarentena de novo, eu não adicionei mais nenhum peixe desde kkk

Maybe looks like ich? I lost a pair of clowns to ich. Tried to live with it again by feeding good with garlic mixed foods but ultimately got another pair of clowns that also got ich even with a good diet. Instead of letting them die I immediately started a Quarantine tank. It really sucked to have fish qt for 3 months but have been ich free since. However unless I feel like quarantine again I have not added more fish since lol

Sinto muito pelos seus palhaços. Velvet e Ich podem parecer bem parecidos, mas velvet geralmente tem uma aparência mais fininha, tipo pó, enquanto Ich parece mais como umas bolinhas brancas. Sem um QT fica mais difícil, mas se você conseguir isolar o peixe doente nem que seja por um tempinho, ajuda bastante. E também adicionar um pouco de água salgada

Sorry to hear about your clowns. Velvet and Ich can look pretty similar but velvet usually has a finer, dust-like appearance while Ich is more like little white spots. Without a QT it’s trickier but if you can isolate the sick fish even briefly that helps a lot. Also adding some saltwater

Atualização da situação confirmada com a LFS: é velvet. Depois de examinar uma que morreu hoje. Disseram pra aumentar a temperatura pra 82 e pegar um esterilizador UV. Deixar o aquário vazio por 6-8 semanas e só comprar peixes que já são tratados e fazer qt antes de entrar no habitat principal. Lição cara que aprendi, não comprar de fontes não confiáveis!

Update to the situation confirmed with LFS is velvet. After examining one that died today. Advised to turn up temp to 82 and get a uv sterilizer. Fallow tank for 6-8 weeks and only buy fish that are treated and qt before entry to the main habitat. Expensive lesson learned not buying from non reputable sources!
