Description
Caulastrea, commonly known as Candy Cane or Trumpet Coral, is a popular choice among reef aquarists due to its vibrant colors and relatively easy care requirements. It features fleshy polyps that can be green, blue, or brown, often with contrasting tips. This coral is known for its tolerance to a range of water conditions, making it suitable for beginners. It forms colonies with a branching structure, and its polyps can expand significantly during nighttime feeding.
