Description
Cup corals, belonging to the genus Tubastraea, are a group of non-photosynthetic corals known for their vibrant colors, typically orange, yellow, or pink. Unlike many corals, they do not rely on sunlight for energy but instead capture plankton and other small particles from the water column. They are often found in shaded or deeper reef areas and are popular in aquariums due to their striking appearance. However, they require regular feeding and stable water conditions to thrive.
