The Halo Hammer coral, scientifically known as Euphyllia ancora, is a popular choice among reef aquarists due to its unique appearance and vibrant colors. It features elongated, hammer-like tentacles that can sway gracefully in the current, giving it a halo-like effect. This coral can exhibit a range of colors, including green, purple, and pink, often with contrasting tips. It is semi-aggressive and can extend its sweeper tentacles at night, so adequate space should be provided to prevent it from stinging nearby corals.
