Description
The Hammer Coral, also known as Euphyllia ancora, is a popular species among reef aquarists due to its unique hammer-shaped tentacles and vibrant teal coloration. It is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral that can add movement and color to an aquarium. While it can be semi-aggressive towards other corals due to its long sweeper tentacles, it is generally easy to care for with the right conditions. This coral prefers moderate lighting and water flow, mimicking its natural habitat in the Indo-Pacific region.
