Description
Lace corals, belonging to the family Stylasteridae, are a group of hydrocorals known for their delicate, lace-like appearance. They are typically found in deep and cold water environments. These corals are not true stony corals but are closely related to fire corals. They have a hard calcium carbonate skeleton and are often brightly colored. Due to their specific environmental needs, they are generally considered challenging to keep in home aquariums.
