Lettuce Coral, scientifically known as Agaricia agaricites, is a small polyp stony coral found in the Caribbean Sea and the western Atlantic Ocean. It is named for its ruffled, leaf-like appearance, resembling a head of lettuce. This coral forms thin plates or whorls and can vary in color from brown to green. It is a hardy species that can adapt to a variety of tank conditions, making it popular among reef aquarists.
