Description
Moon Coral, belonging to the genus Favia, is a popular coral species known for its dome-shaped colonies and vibrant colors. It is characterized by its large polyp stony (LPS) structure with distinct, moon-like corallites. This coral is relatively hardy and can adapt to a range of conditions, making it suitable for moderately experienced aquarists. Moon Coral is semi-aggressive and can extend sweeper tentacles to defend its space, so it requires adequate spacing from other corals.
