Description
Plume Gorgonians, belonging to the genus Pseudopterogorgia, are beautiful, fan-like corals known for their branching, feather-like structures. They are often found in shallow waters where they sway gracefully with the currents. These corals are photosynthetic and rely on symbiotic zooxanthellae for nutrition, but they also benefit from supplemental feeding of plankton. They require stable water conditions and can be a stunning addition to a reef tank with the right care.
