Description
Purple Hornet Zoanthids are a stunning variety of zoanthid coral, known for their vibrant purple coloration with a striking yellow ring around the mouth. They are popular among reef aquarium enthusiasts due to their unique appearance and relatively easy care requirements. These corals form colonies of polyps that can cover rock surfaces, adding a burst of color to any reef tank. They are photosynthetic and rely on symbiotic zooxanthellae algae for nutrition, but can also benefit from occasional feedings of small meaty foods.
