Description
The Torch Indo Gold coral, scientifically known as Euphyllia glabrescens, is a popular and visually striking coral species prized for its vibrant gold-tipped tentacles. It is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral that can add a dynamic and colorful presence to a reef aquarium. Known for its long, flowing tentacles, it resembles the flickering of a torch, which is how it gets its common name. This coral requires moderate lighting and water flow, making it suitable for aquarists with some experience. Its semi-aggressive nature means it should be placed with care to avoid stinging neighboring corals.
