Hallo, mein Name ist Jazlyn. Neu in der App. Das Becken ist etwa 10 Monate alt, im Februar dann ein Jahr. Ich bin extrem besessen davon, neue Dinge zu lernen und herauszufinden, wie ich mein Becken verbessern kann. Ich mache alle zwei Wochen samstags einen Wasserwechsel von 5 gallons. Ich teste das Wasser jeden Sonntag. Ich kämpfe gerade mit dem, was ich für Bryopsis-Algen halte. Falls jemand Tipps hat, wie ich sie loswerden kann, wäre ich sehr dankbar. Ich habe außerdem vor einem Tag eine Duncan coral gekauft und sie war heute den ganzen Tag geschlossen. Ich mache mir ein bisschen Sorgen. Ich lasse unten ein Video. Für jeden Tipp bin ich dankbar. Hello, my names Jazlyn. New to the app. Tanks about 10 months old, a year in feb. I’m extremely obsessed about learning new things and how I can better my tank. I do a water change every other week on Saturday of 5 gallons. I test the water every sun. I’m currently dealing what I think is bryopsis algae, if anyone has any tips on how I can get rid of it I’d highly appreciate it. I also bought a Duncan coral a day ago and it stayed closed all day today. I’m kinda concerned. I’ll leave a video below. Any tips are appreciated. Please don’t be rude as I’m still learning. PS don't buy from petco.. Their fish/coral care is horrible

Yeah well, I gave them the benefit of the doubt.. now realizing probably not great, I mean I got my zoas from them and the ones are doing good, the other ones have been closed up for quite some time now

You might get lucky and find something nice there but as a consumer, I'd go to a local saltwater fish store if you have any....there's some really nice online places that have great fish or corals....

I believe it’s bryopsis algae, I’ve read nothing eats it?
Ahhh maybe a reef safe chemical would take it away but it’s iffy putting that type of stuff in the tank I don’t even want to put the cynochem
I’m gonna get flux rx. I watched some videos on it and that seems to be the best thing
