Mi acuario de agua salada de 20 galones que acabo de configurar hace como una semana tiene una salinidad de 1.010 ahorita, ¿cuánta agua recomiendas cambiar para que llegue a una lectura de 1.020 de salinidad? Solo tengo un camarón pistolero en el acuario y dos hermitas azuladas (blue legged hermits).
My 20 gallon salt water tank that I just set up about a week ago has a salinity of 1.010 right now, how much water would you recommend to change out to get a reading of 1.020 salinity? I only have a fire shrimp in the tank and two bleu legged hermits.

Yo nomás dejaría que se evapore el agua con el tiempo. Y rellenar con agua salada con sal hasta que llegues a 1.02
I would just let your water evaporate over time. And top off with saltwater until you get to 1.02
Tu salinidad debería estar entre 1.024 y 1.026 o 32 a 35 ppt. Si necesitas subir tu salinidad hay calculadoras en línea donde metes tus números y te van guiando. Si vas a intentar llegar a una salinidad tipo acuario de arrecife, deberías agarrar una buena cantidad de tu agua salada y sal para eso en una taza o frasco aparte que sea lo suficientemente grande para que puedas mezclar con un poco de agua salada de acuario. Ve con calma con la sal hasta llegar a 1.026
Your salinity should be between 1.024 and 1.026 or 32 to 35 ppt. If you need to raise your salinity they have calculators online where you input your numbers and it’ll guide you. If you’re willing to approach a reef tank salinity you should grab a good amount of your saltwater and and salt to that in a different cup or jar that’s big enough for you to stir in some fish tank salt water. Go slowly with the salt until you reach 1.026

No tengo un acuario extra para poner mis inverts y no quiero estresarlos. ¿Cómo lo hago mientras están en el acuario? ¿Nomás hago un cambio de agua del 10%?
I do not have an extra tank to place my inverts and don’t want to stress them out. How can I do it while they are in the tank, just do like a 10% water change?
