Started my very first tank this year (february '26). It has always been a dream to be able to join the saltwater hobby and after years of doubt I decided to go for it this year. The tank is far from mature after only running for about 7 months. The dry reef rock was leaking a lot and was a algea party for a long time. The tank is still pest free (that was the goal of the dryrock). I boosted the cycle with a litre of sand from a mature system which introduced copepods. This is a zero water change project. My Biocube started leaking so I upgraded to a 40B as an emergency. I’m using the two biocube stands I had as a stand for now until I find something permanent. It’s a good thing I kept my Orphek fixture from before bc it fits perfectly for this tank.
I bought this kenya tree last week its been doing fine today it looks like this any help why. water parameters are fine. This is my first marine tank so im not familiar with corals
I have two aquariums, one 44 liters and one 96, and I'm torn between keeping both or getting rid of them and making one big one. I have a cabinet available that would let me install an aquarium 90*45*30cm high (I like low aquariums), do you think an upgrade like that makes sense?
We moved and I had to tear down and restart my 20 gallon AIO. It has cycled and I have added 10 soft corals. One of my Kenya trees and the Vargas cespitularia are now struggling. I need to check parameters again but this is what they were a few days ago. Here are a few pics of the tank as well. What do I do?
Had a fish only tank for about 3 months now, gunna go for our first coral on Tuesday. Any recommendations on a hardy coral or a good suggestion for a first coral?

Tank has been very cloudy during the day. It seems to clear up at night. Is this normal during the early stages?
