Buscando un buen skimmer de en el acuario. Tengo un acuario de 75 galones y tengo las tapas puestas y una luz en las tapas. No quiero el acuario abierto. ¿Algún consejo o recomendación será muy apreciado, también cuál es una buena luz para peces y corales que no me arruine? 💸
Looking off a good In tank skimmer. I have a 75 gallon tank and I have the lids on and a light on the lids. I don’t want the tank open. Any advice or recommendations will greatly be appreciated also what’s a good like for fish and coral that wot. Break the bank

Fuertemente recomiendo un sump, te hacen la vida mucho más fácil. Con respecto a la iluminación busca una luz usada y será más barata.. ¿tal vez 2 Hydra 32? Tengo 1 para mi Reefer 170 y es una luz excelente. Podrías conseguir algunos brazos de montaje y después solo poner una tapa de malla de algún tipo sobre el acuario, no estoy seguro si eso siga contando como "abierto" aunque..
Strongly recommend a sump, they will make life so much easier. With regards to lighting look for a used light and it’ll be cheaper.. maybe 2 hydra 32?? I have 1 for my reefer 170 and it’s a great light. You could get some mounting arms and then just put a mesh lid of some sort over the tank, not sure if that still counts as “open” though..

I know it all seems expensive but buying the right equipment right off the bat is much better than buying cheap stuff and replacing it all later, you won’t regret it! I’ve bought everything of mine used and it’s been way more affordable that way

Ese es mi plan por ahora. No sé nada sobre un sistema de sump así que no estoy 100% seguro. He usado hob y canisters por siempre y siempre he tenido mucha suerte
That’s my plan for now. I don’t know anything about a sump system so I’m not really 100% confident in it. I’ve used hob and canisters forever and always had great luck

I think having a sump allows you to use a wider variety of equipment but it totally can be done without one

Me gusta una tapa por el hecho de que tenemos un gato que tiende a gustarle el pescado. No ha intentado meterse a un acuario pero los observa como un halcón. Si actualizo este acuario a un acuario de agua salada de más de 125 galones probablemente intente un sump
I like a lid for the fact we have a cat that tends to like fish. She hasn’t tried to get into a tank but she watches them like a hawk. If I do upgrade this tank to over 125 gallon salt tank I will probably try a sump

They’re one of the smallest species of tang so they’ll be perfectly happy in a smaller tank. They just need a good balance of live rock to pick algae off of and open space to swim

Top of the tank is pretty open. I have about 40-50 lbs of live rock and I have 2 big coral skeletons in the tank I was given when I got the tank
