Hola chicos y chicas, aquí tenéis una pequeña actualización de mi acuario. Después de la toma de control, estaba muy emocionado por empezar en el hobby, y sé que va a ser difícil. Pero el anterior dueño tenía algo mal en el sump, así que los parámetros se estaban yendo por completo. Al final encontré el problema y lo solucioné con un cambio de agua diario.
Me alegra que todo haya aguantado bien durante este momento tan duro. Por desgracia, dos caracoles no lo han conseguido.
Y el candy coral tiene una cabeza blanqueándose; el resto está genial, se abre muy bien, y algunos parecen estar creciendo.
Mañana voy a hacer el último cambio de agua, y dentro de un par de días espero que todo vuelva a ir en la dirección correcta.
Hi guys and girls, here is a little update of my tank. After the take over, I was very excited to start the hobby, and I know it's going to be difficult. But the former owner had something wrong in the sump, so the parameters were going all the way off. I finally found the problem and solved it with a daily water change.
I am happy everything held strong through this hard time. Unfortunately, two snails have not made it.
And the candy coral is one head bleaching; the rest is doing great, they open nicely, and some of them seem to grow.
Tomorrow I am going to do the last water change, and in a couple of days, I hope everything is going in the right way again.

Sí, gracias, sé que ya casi estoy. Ese fue el problema de empezar este hobby. Lo quería todo ya, así que ahora sé de qué va. Pero un amigo de un amigo, él conoce a un tipo. Así que tenía algo como vale, lo haré. Pero por eso tuve que empezar de cero por todos los putos desastres de otro
Yeah thanks I know I am almost there. That was the hole issue of starting this hobby. I wanted evertyhing no so I know what's up. But some friend of a friend he know I guy. So I had something like ok I'll do it. But this is why I had to start new of all the terrible fuck ups from another

En mi acuario, el coral candy cane va muy bien en la parte de abajo de la roca con flujo medio a bajo. Quizá está demasiado arriba y eso está causando el blanqueamiento. Aunque solo es mi opinión.
In my tank, candy cane coral does really well at the bottom of my rock work in medium to low flow. Might be too high which is causing the bleaching. Just my opinion though.
Tengo mi rl90 bajado a 50. Bleu white no pasa de 15 Red solo sale con los amaneceres Ese es el otro problema que tengo: los wave makers solo bajan al 30 %, así que cuando se encienden es como un huracán 🌀 por eso 2 peces payaso están la mayor parte del tiempo en la esquina del acuario. Y me di cuenta de que cuando estaba abajo en la roca por culpa del wave maker se desmoronó
I have my rl90 set down to 50. Bleu white is not more then 15 Red only comes with sunrises That's the other problem I'm taking on the wave makers are only go down to 30 % so when they go on it's like un hurricane 🌀 that's why 2 clownfish are most of the time in the corner of the tank. And I noticed when he was down on the rock because of the wave maker it crumbled together
El flujo es sin duda un factor. Tardé casi 2 semanas en ajustarlo bien. Al final dejé uno en el lado derecho y otro en el cristal trasero izquierdo para que el flujo quedara bien. Me di cuenta de que los míos también eran demasiado fuertes, así que los cambié los dos por unos MP10 y ha ido genial. Tengo un reef mixto con corales blandos, lps y sps.
Flow is definitely a factor. Took me almost 2 weeks to dial mine in. Ended up with one on the right side and one on the back left glass to get the flow right. Realized mine were also too strong so just swapped them both for MP10s and it’s been great! Have a mixed reef with soft corals, lps, and sps.
