Estoy muy orgulloso de mi gordo Zeus (Sailfin), es el jefe del acuario. Añadí un powder marrón hace unos días y el primer día estaba muy enfadado, persiguiéndola por todas partes. Al final la dejó salir de la “cárcel” el día 4 desde que la añadimos y desde entonces no ha vuelto a meterse con ella. Luego añadimos un Midas blenny sin que Zeus se preocupara lo más mínimo. Después un helfrichi fire fire. Ningún problema. Luego anoche estaba muy nervioso cuando mis peques insistieron en añadir los dos últimos peces que íbamos a meter, el BABY yellow tang y el whitetail bristletooth. ¡Zeus lo está haciendo MUY bien! Ayer, mínimos despliegues de dominancia. El bristletooth está un poco delgado y ha estado tan ocupado limpiando las algas del acuario que Zeus realmente ha dejado en paz a ella y al baby yellow tang!
So proud of my big guy Zeus (Sailfin) he’s Boss Man in the tank. Added a brown powder a few days back and he was very unhappy the first day, chasing her around. He finally let her out of “jail” on day 4 of her being added and hasn’t messed with her since. Then we added a Midas blenny with no concern from Zeus. Then a helfrichi fire fire. No issues. Then last night I was very nervous when my kiddos insisted on adding our last two fish to add, the BABY yellow tang and the whitetail bristletooth. Zeus is doing VERY good! Minimal displays of dominance yesterday. The bristletooth is a little on the skinny side and has been so preoccupied with cleaning up the algae on the tank that Zeus has really left her and the baby yellow tang alone!

Sí, estoy súper feliz de ver que todo el mundo va bien hasta ahora. Tengo un purple tang en QT ahora mismo… un PETCO local me lo dio porque tiene ich sabiendo que tengo lo que necesita para superarlo. Solo lleva 2,5 días conmigo y se le ve genial. Así que ese será mi último. Aunque no tengo ganas de esa introducción porque he oído que pueden ser muy agresivos. Espero que mi pandilla de tangs sea más amiga para entonces y pueda ponerlo en su sitio jajaja.
Yeah I’m super happy to see everyone doing well so far. I do have a purple tang in QT right now… a local PETCO gave him to me because he has ich knowing I have what he needs to get through it. Only had him for 2.5 days so far and he’s looking great. So that will be my last one. Not looking forward to that introduction though because I heard they can be very aggressive. Hoping my tang gang will be more friends by then and can put him in his place haha.
