Copperband Butterflyfish prefer a well-lit tank with plenty of hiding places. They require a variety of live rock for grazing and hiding. The water temperature should be between 72-78°F with a pH level between 8.1-8.4.

The trick is getting them to eat!! Mine has learned to eat from my hands and is so personable and always out. Never mean to anyone. Model citizen.

Once eating they are very strong and beneficial fish to a reef ecosystem. Very rarely do you find copperbands fearing on coral.

Not for beginners. But the most rewarding fish I’ve ever had in the hobby. Trained him to eat out of my hand, and he’d follow me around the tank. Huge personality but very difficult to get eating.
