Description
The Lined Seahorse is a distinctive marine fish with an upright body, prehensile tail, and a long snout used for sucking in small prey. Its coloration varies widely, often showing shades of brown, yellow, orange, black, or white with fine lines and spots that help it blend into seagrass, mangroves, and reef habitats.

Environment
Requires a stable marine aquarium with gentle to moderate flow, excellent water quality, plenty of hitching posts, and calm tankmates. Prefers temperatures around 72-77 F and should be housed in a taller aquarium with low stress and low aggression.
Behavior
Slow-moving and deliberate, often perching with its tail wrapped around decor or macroalgae. Generally non-competitive and best kept with other peaceful tankmates that will not outcompete it for food.
