Je suis tellement fier de mon gros bonhomme Zeus (Sailfin), c’est le chef dans le bac. J’ai ajouté un brown powder il y a quelques jours et il était très mécontent le premier jour, à la poursuivre partout. Il a finalement laissé sortir de « prison » le 4e jour après son ajout et ne l’a plus embêtée depuis. Ensuite on a ajouté un Midas blenny sans que Zeus ne s’en inquiète. Puis un helfrichi fire fire. Aucun souci. Hier soir, j’étais très nerveux quand mes enfants ont insisté pour ajouter nos deux derniers poissons, le BABY yellow tang et le whitetail bristletooth. Zeus se comporte TRÈS bien ! Démonstrations de dominance minimales hier. Le bristletooth est un peu maigre et a tellement été occupé à nettoyer les algues dans le bac que Zeus a vraiment laissé tranquille la whitetail bristletooth et le baby yellow tang !
So proud of my big guy Zeus (Sailfin) he’s Boss Man in the tank. Added a brown powder a few days back and he was very unhappy the first day, chasing her around. He finally let her out of “jail” on day 4 of her being added and hasn’t messed with her since. Then we added a Midas blenny with no concern from Zeus. Then a helfrichi fire fire. No issues. Then last night I was very nervous when my kiddos insisted on adding our last two fish to add, the BABY yellow tang and the whitetail bristletooth. Zeus is doing VERY good! Minimal displays of dominance yesterday. The bristletooth is a little on the skinny side and has been so preoccupied with cleaning up the algae on the tank that Zeus has really left her and the baby yellow tang alone!

Ouais, je suis super content de voir que tout le monde va bien jusqu’ici. J’ai bien une purple tang en QT en ce moment… un PETCO local me l’a donnée parce qu’il a la maladie des points blancs, sachant que j’ai ce qu’il faut pour l’aider à s’en sortir. Je ne l’ai que depuis 2,5 jours et il a l’air en super forme. Ce sera donc le dernier. Je n’ai pas hâte à cette introduction, par contre, parce que j’ai entendu dire qu’ils peuvent être très agressifs. J’espère que ma bande de tangs sera plus amie d’ici là et pourra lui montrer qui commande haha.
Yeah I’m super happy to see everyone doing well so far. I do have a purple tang in QT right now… a local PETCO gave him to me because he has ich knowing I have what he needs to get through it. Only had him for 2.5 days so far and he’s looking great. So that will be my last one. Not looking forward to that introduction though because I heard they can be very aggressive. Hoping my tang gang will be more friends by then and can put him in his place haha.
