Tank setup
- Fine sand substrate at least 1.5–2 inches deep
- Covered top to prevent jumping
- Stable salinity and low aggression tank mates
Feeding and long-term success
Supplement natural sand-sifting with frozen foods and pellets. Watch body condition weekly and reduce competition at feeding time.
