The tuxedo urchin is a master at eating algea. I swear this thing never takes a day off. It’s the only thing in the tank that will it the huge pieces of hair algae! Here are the pros of this invert: •Not spiky or venomous •Eats tons of algea constantly •Is always visible in the tank •Looks rad Cons •It’s so voracious you may need algae supplementation if all algae is gone in the tank •It will take any loose hermit crabs, snails, rocks or unsecured corals for a ride on its back This con can be fixed by just getting an urchin hat- the urchin will grab onto things for protection from predators, give it a hat and it will hold onto it instead of your coral and livestock! 10/10 urchin, really cool to watch in the tank!
