Ho appena allestito una nuova vasca e ho spostato tutti i miei coralli e pesci, tutto sta andando bene e i valori sono abbastanza stabili, però questo hammer verde si è rimpicciolito parecchio. Qualche suggerimento su come salvarlo sarebbe super!

I have recently set up a new tank and moved all my coral and fish over everything is doing good and parameters are pretty stable but this green hammer coral has shrunk back a lot. Any suggestions would be great on how to save it!

Ci ho pensato, ma non c’è molta corrente. Ce l’ho davvero bassa, penso che terrò d’occhio la situazione, sembra che durante il giorno stesse più fuori e stesse un po’ meglio 🤞
It thought of that but there’s not a lot of flow I have it very low I’m probably just going to keep an eye on it, it seems to have been more out during the day and doing a bit better 🤞

Sì, è un nuovo allestimento ma tutto viene dalla mia vecchia vasca. Però è l’unica hammer nella vasca e non ho fatto nessun test tranne nitriti a 0, ammoniaca 0 e nitrati 15
Yes this is a new setup but everything is from my old tank but it’s my only hammer in the tank I haven’t done any testing except for nitrite 0 ammonia 0 and nitrate 15

Le hammer adorano l’acqua bilanciata. Io tengo i nitrati a 15-20 con i fosfati a 0,15-0,20 a seconda di se i tuoi altri abitanti riescono a gestire quel livello di nutrienti. Direi che l’obiettivo è 10-0,1 con ALK a 9-10 e calcio a 400 (è la fortuna che ho avuto nella mia vasca con le hammer). Si capisce quando fosfato o magnesio sono troppo bassi: si ritirano, tipo quella nella tua foto. Possono sopportare più corrente di quanto pensino le persone. Testa tutto e assicurati che gli altri valori siano ok e vai tranquillo! In bocca al lupo
Hammers love balanced water. I keep my nitrates at 15 to 20 with phosphates at .15 to .20 depending on if your other inhabitants can handle that high of nutrients. I would say 10 to .1 is the goal with an ALK of 9 to 10 and cal at 400 (that’s the luck I’ve had in my hammer tank). I can tell when my phosphate or magnesium is to low, they recede like the one in your photo. They can take more flow than what people think. Test everything and make sure your others are in par and you’ll be fine! Best of luck
