Aiuto! Ho preso due baby clown storm ieri e li ho messi in quarantena e quello nero è andato subito al fondo e si è sdraiato respirando pesantemente. Stamattina è morto. 😭 Non voglio perdere anche l'arancione! Che faccio? Tutti i miei parametri sono a posto.
Help! I got two baby storm clowns yesterday and put them in quarantine and the black one immediately went to the bottom and laid down breathing heavily. This morning he died. 😭 I don’t want to lose the orange one too! What do I do? All of my parameters are good.

Il rapporto acqua nuova a vecchia era 1:1 prima che li trasferissi. - Li ho presi da un negozio locale di pesce salato. Li aveva da circa un mese e li stava tenendo da parte per me mentre facevo ciclare la mia vasca di display. - Il mio filtro ha una funzione di airstone che agita la superficie mentre aggiunge piccole bolle e l'ho messo al massimo. - Non ho aggiunto nessun medicinale. - Avevo dei gomiti PVC neri da 1.5" dentro ma li ho presi da Home Depot e ho paura che sia quello che li ha uccisi. - Ho appena fatto un cambio d'acqua del 50% e ho aggiunto Seachem Prime e Stress Guard. Il povero ragazzo non sta tanto bene.
Thank you so much @MaxB. Here’s more information. - I drip acclimated for about an hour. The new to old water was 1:1 before I transferred them. - I got them from a local saltwater only fish store. He had them for about a month and was holding them for me while I got my display tank cycled. - My filter has a bubbler feature that agitates the surface while adding tiny bubbles and I’ve got it turned it all the way up. - I didn’t add any medication at all. - I had black 1.5” pvc elbows in there but I got them at Home Depot and I’m worried that’s what killed them. - I just did a 50% water change and added Seachem Prime and Stress Guard. Poor guy isn’t doing so well.

Mi sembra che tu abbia fatto tutto nel modo giusto, a volte potrebbero non essere nelle migliori condizioni al negozio di pesce e il trasporto è quello che li manda ko. E un sacco di gente usa i tubi PVC nelle vasche di quarantena, quindi molto probabilmente non è il motivo per cui il clown è morto. I clownfish sono pesci resilienti quindi c'è una buona possibilità che quello rimasto ce la faccia con abbastanza cura. Non farti il senso di colpa, era probabilmente fuori dal tuo controllo
It’s seems to me like you did all the right things, sometimes they may not be in the best condition at the fish store and the move is what puts them over the edge. And tons of people use the pvc tubing in quarantining setups, so it’s most likely not the reason the clown passed. Clownfish are resilient fish so there’s a good chance the remaining one will make it with enough care. Don’t beat yourself up over it, it was likely out of your control

Oh no! Mi dispiace, ci sono un paio di cose che mi vengono in mente- 1) La tua salinità è un po' bassa, di solito si punta a 1.026. Li hai drip acclimated o li hai messi dentro direttamente? Potrebbe essere uno shock dal cambio di salinità improvviso. 2) se li hai presi online e spediti potrebbero essere già stati in cattive condizioni e estremamente stressati. 3) forse non abbastanza ossigeno, metti una airstone dentro, vedo che hai un Wavemaker ma è al fondo, il che non aggiunge ossigeno alla vasca perché non sta rompendo la superficie dell'acqua quindi non sta aggiungendo molto ossigeno. 4) se hai dosato un certo medicinale troppo presto potrebbe aver messo troppo stress al pesce, (come se avessi dosato rame subito appena li hai messi nella vasca) Solo tu conosci tutti i dettagli specifici della tua situazione, quindi buona fortuna e spero che l'altro clown ce la faccia! Considera comunque di prendere qualcosa dove il pesce possa nascondersi, tipo un tubo PVC grande aperto, aiuterà lo stress se hanno uno spazio sicuro. Gli altri parametri vanno bene comunque.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that, there’s a few things that I can think of- 1) Your salinity is a bit low, usually people aim for 1.026. Did you drip acclimate them or just put them in? It could be shock from sudden salinity change. 2) if you got them online shipped to you they could have been in bad shape already and extremely stressed. 3) maybe not enough oxygen, put an air bubbler in, I see that you have a Wavemaker but it’s at the bottom, which doesn’t add oxygen to the tank because it’s not breaking the surface water it’s not adding much oxygen. 4) if you dosed a certain medication too early it could have put too much stress on the fish, (like if you dosed copper right as you put them in the tank) Only you know all the specifics of your situation, so good luck and I hope the other clown makes it! Do consider getting something for the fish to hide in though, like a T pvc big open tube, it will help their stress if they have a safe space. The other parameters look fine btw.
