Anyone know how to get rid of this red algae bc I’m new to the hobby and I don’t like how it looks. Also will it mess with my corals bc it’s starting to get on a rock that has my zoa frag on it

Anche spegni le luci e se puoi “oscurare” copri la tua vasca per qualche giorno, dovrebbe aiutare anche quello

Aumenta il flusso, prova a tenere Chemiclean come ultima risorsa, fai un blackout, aumenta ancora il flusso e vedi se aiuta.

Si chiama flap rosso. Batteri/cianobatteri. Succede per uno squilibrio nei valori dell’acqua. La corrente va bene e, solo in caso di vera necessità, chemi clean.
Het heet rode flap. Cyano bacterie. Komt door een onbalans in je water waardes. Stroming is goed en bij echte noodzaak chemi clean.

Grazie a tutti per l’aiuto! Ho tenuto la vasca al buio per un paio di giorni e ha risolto il problema. Però l’anguilla ha mangiato un pesce pagliaccio, quindi ho spostato l’altro in una vasca di quarantena così non diventasse uno spuntino. Il mio filtro a cartuccia è traboccato, quindi adesso la mia vasca è mezzo piena e il tappeto si sta asciugando, quindi la riempio quando il tappeto è asciutto, tra 2 hours. Incrociate le dita per me🤞
Thanks for the help everyone! I blacked out the tank for a couple days and it took care of it. The eel did eat a clownfish though so I moved the other to a quarantine tank so he didn’t become a snack. My canister filter did overflow so now my tank is half full and the carpet is drying out so I’m filling it up when the carpet is dry so in 2 hours. Wish me luck🤞
