Grazie! Ho iniziato con roccia secca e sabbia viva. Alimentavo tutti i giorni e usavo circa mezza bottiglia di batteri starter Weiss. Penso che la vera chiave del mio successo sia stata prendere della roccia viva da Tampa bay saltwater dopo il ciclo iniziale. La quantità di batteri benefici e vita biologica sulle rocce non ha paragone. Non ho avuto nessuna mortalità sulla roccia perché arriva in un secchio d'acqua salata. Dopo il primo mese di ciclo ho aggiunto un sacco di macroalghe e 5 chromis. Alimentavo davvero generosamente e lasciavo che le macro crescessero selvaggiamente. Non ho mai attraversato una fase brutta. Faccio un cambio d'acqua ogni 2-3 settimane a seconda di come stanno i miei coralli. Il mio schiumatoio è dimensionato per circa 250 galloni. Doso All for Reef tutti i giorni. Oltre a questo è praticamente tutto quello che faccio. Quasi non testo più.

Thank you! I started with dry rock and live sand. I fed everyday and used like half a bottle of Weiss starter bacteria. I think the real key to my success was getting some Tampa bay saltwater live rock after my initial cycle. The amount of beneficial bacteria and bio life on the rocks cannot be matched. I had zero die off on the rock as it comes in a bucket of saltwater. After the first month of cycling I added a bunch of macro algae and 5 chromis. Fed really dirty and let the macro grow wild. I never went through an ugly phase. I water change every 2 -3 weeks depending on how my corals look. My skimmer is rated for like 250 gallons. I dose All for Reef daily. Other than that that’s pretty much all I do. I barely test anymore.
