Il dipX per coralli Red Sea può uccidere la torch? L’ho preso un paio di giorni fa e già sto perdendo 2 teste. L’altra torch sta benissimo, quindi non capisco perché questa non va così.
Can Red Sea coral dipX kill the torch? I got it a couple days ago and I’m already losing 2 heads. My other torch is thriving so not sure why that one is not doing that good

A volte sembra, ma in realtà è solo che non è ancora regolato. Ci possono volere 3-5 giorni.
Sometimes it appears as though when in reality it’s just not adjusted yet. May take 3-5 days.

Qualsiasi dip può uccidere il corallo. Io preferisco i dip a base di iodio. O Reef Primer. Dip X funziona benissimo per i parassiti, ma non così tanto per tessuto che sta morendo o infezioni.
Any dip can kill coral. I prefer iodine dips. Or Reef Primer. Dip X works great for pests but not so much for dying tissue or infection

Le torches erano piene di planarie piatte, ecco perché. Se sembrano a posto senza parassiti visibili di solito le dipano dopo che si sono acclimatate alla vasca.
The torches were full of flatworms that’s why. If they look fine with no visible pest I usually dip them after they got acclimated to the tank.

Qualsiasi fattore che aggiunge stress alla torch, che sia: il dip, luce, movimento, parametri dell’acqua, temperatura, ecc… può uccidere la torch. Prova a capire cosa causa lo stress e toglilo.
Every factor that add stress to the torch, be it: dipping, light, flow, water parameters, temp. etc... can kill the torch. Try to figure out what causes the stress and eliminate it.
Di sicuro era la spedizione + il dip. Letteralmente ho aggiunto 3 nuove torches lo stesso giorno in cui le ho dipate tutte e in poche ore hanno iniziato a perdere teste…che tristezza, ma almeno qui in Indonesia ce ne sono tantissime a un prezzo super economico 😅
For sure it was the shipping + the dip. I literally added 3 new torches on that same day that I dipped all of them and within hours they started losing heads…very sad but at least here in Indonesia there’s plenty of them at a very cheap price 😅
