¡Literalmente nuevo! ¡Este es mi acuario de 75G de agua salada! Tratando de aprender sobre la marcha.
Me lancé sin ningún conocimiento para hacer feliz a uno de mis hijos y me he enamorado de esto.
Como ves no tengo el mejor equipo pero estoy ahorrando para conseguirlo pronto y para actualizar a un acuario más grande y eventualmente agregar corales. Llevo unos 5 meses y todo ha estado estable con algunos cambios de agua aquí y allá para mantener la buena salud.
¡Cualquier retroalimentación o consejo es bienvenido!
(Sé lo de las estrellas de mar pero mi esposa las compró para los niños y tratamos de reubicarlas y los niños lloran muchísimo)
Literally new! This is my 75G Saltwater tank! Trying to learn as I go.
Jump into it with 0 knowledge to make happy one of my kiddos and I have fallen in love with it.
As you can see I don’t have the best set up or equipment but saving to get it soon and to upgrade to a bigger tank and add corals eventually. About 5 months in, everything have been stable with couple water changes here and there to keep up the good health.
Any feedback or advance is welcome!
(I know about starfish but my wife got them for the kiddos and we try to relocate them and my kids cry so much)

Buen comienzo. El mejor consejo que recibí en agua salada es 'lento y constante'. No hay prisa en actuar rápido y agregar mucho. Date tiempo para aprender a mantener parámetros estables. ¿Planeas agregar corales?
Off to a good start. The best advice I got in saltwater is 'slow and steady'. No need to act too fast and add too much. Give your self time to learn how to keep stable parameters. Do you plan on adding coral?

Probablemente sea una buena idea. Tienes las manos llenas con algunos peces que van a crecer bastante.
That’s probably a good idea. You do have your hands full with some fish that will grow pretty large.

Your tank looks awesome for only five months in! Love seeing the clowns and that Foxface Rabbitfish hanging out together. Slow and steady really is the way to go and it's so cool you're getting the whole family involved. It just gets more addicting from here!
¡Muchas gracias! ¡Lo sé! Estamos hablando ahora para conseguir un acuario de 125-180G con sump. No es algo inmediato pero eventualmente porque sabemos que el tang necesitaría más espacio y mi objetivo es conseguir otro tang. Y otros pececitos.
Thank you so much!!! I know!! We’re talking now to get a 125-180G tank with sump. Not right the way but eventually because we know the tang would need more space and my goal is to get another tang. And other fishies.

Mi esposa compró este y me dijo que era un Mano Angel. Jaja no estoy 100% seguro con los nombres pero estoy empezando a familiarizarme.
My wife buy this one and she told me it was a Mano Angel. Hahaha I’m not 100% sure on names I’m starting to get familiar with.

Cool! I’ve gotta do some research… I’ve just been doing nanos and picos so far but setting up my first larger tank soon. My son would absolutely flip over the big eyes 😂
Jaja, mi hijo es un enorme fan de la tienda de peces ahora. Cometimos un par de errores hace un par de semanas. Tuvimos un Atlantic Blue Tang bebé con el que se enamoró y un Atlantic Sting-Ray y la tienda de peces nos dijo que estaríamos bien pero creo que nuestro acuario no estaba listo para la raya así que murió hace un par de días pero le dijimos que estaba en el hospital y que tal vez iría al océano con sus papás y el Atlantic Blue Tang era muy pequeño y tenemos un pez Abuela y lo atacó y lo mató y él vio esto y lloró por horas e incluso hicimos un funeral para él y todo. Así que ahora somos más cuidadosos con lo que conseguimos y tratamos de investigar mucho antes de que se enamore de un pez jaja
Hahaha, my son is huge fan of the fish store now. We did make couple mistakes couple of weeks ago. We had a Atlantic Blue Tang baby that he called in loved with and a Atlantic Sting-Ray and our fish store told us we should be good but I think our set up was not ready for the stingray so she day couple days ago but we told him she is in the hospital and that she might go to the ocean with his parents and the Atlantic Blue Tang was too little and we have a Granma fish and she attacked him and kill him and he saw this and he cried for hours and we had to do a funeral for him and everything. So we’re now more careful with what we get and trying to else and research a lot before we get him fall in love with a fish lol

Uff, yo siento eso. 💀 Tener peces cuando tienes niños pequeños puede ser DIFÍCIL. Conseguí un six lined wrasse pequeño para ayudar con un problema de flatworms y no sobrevivió la primera noche en cuarentena (se veía mal saliendo de la bolsa). Mi hijo de 6 años estaba DEVASTADO. 💀
Man do I feel that. 💀 keeping fish when you have littles can be ROUGH. I got a little six lined wrasse to help with a bit of a flatworm problem and he didn’t make it through the first night of quarantine (looked rough right out of the bag). My 6 year old was DEVASTATED. 💀

Pareja de payasos clarkii, gramma real, halcón llama, gobio azul neón, trío de cardenales pj. El acuario de mi hijo tiene una pareja de perculas verdaderos, un blenny spot de cola, gramma real y gobio azul neón, el acuario de mi hija tiene una pareja de ocelaris y un blenny cortacésped
Pair of clarkii clowns, royal gramma, flame hawkfish, blue neon goby, trio of pj cardinals. My son’s tank has a pair of true perculas, a tail spot blenny, royal gramma, and blue neon goby, my daughter’s tank has a pair of ocelaris and a lawnmower blenny

Oh nice!! So you have 3 tanks total?? I’m starting another one small a 50G but were waiting on the cycling test we tested last week and it was good but I haven’t buy anything for it yet.

El acuario se ve bien. Te recomendaría agregar más roca y quitar la decoración de barco. A veces pueden filtrar químicos al agua y el agua salada es muy sensible. Quieres mucha roca para escondites y crecimiento bacteriano.
Tank looks good. I would recommend adding more rock and removing the ship decoration. Sometimes they can leak chemicals into the water and saltwater is very sensitive. You want plenty of rock for hiding spots and bacteria growth.
