No tengo ni idea de lo que estoy haciendo. ¡Siempre he sido un aprendizaje difícil! Quizá sea más difícil o quizá no… pero allá vamos con el viaje. Y a ver si evito la fase fea. 😬
Diving deep as a 2 month beginner. Ato and awc on both tanks. Restarting both tanks from already established dirty tanks. New sand and dry blown up reef rock. No idea what I’m doing! Always been a hard learner! Maybe this is harder maybe not… but here’s to the journey! And trying to avoid the ugly stage! 😬

Empecé con agua dulce. Solo pasé a agua salada porque me estaba aburriendo y básicamente arruiné el de agua dulce. Una cosa que el agua dulce me enseñó fue centrarse en tu microflora y microfauna. Tu fase fea literalmente solo será un parpadeo. Vas a desaparecer antes de que te des cuenta
I started off with fresh water. I only went to saltwater because I was getting bored and it basically masted fresh. One thing freshwater did teach me was focus on your microflora and microfauna. Your ugly stage will literally just be a blip. You'll be gone before you know it

Empecé con un 40 de agua dulce. Sigue funcionando a tope como acuario plantado sin filtro.

Ese es básicamente todo mi acuario plantado de 60. Literalmente solo tengo un filtro para mantener el agua en movimiento. Tengo cangrejos de río y hacen un desastre
That's basically all my 60 gallon plant it is. I literally only have a a filter on it just to keep water moving. I have crayfish and they make a mess

Solo tengo un pequeño agitador de olas. En el principio me peleé con una gran floración de algas, pero ahora está cristalino y es bastante guay.
I just have a little wave maker. Battled a big Algae bloom in the beginning but now it’s crystal clear and pretty awesome.

Igual te conviene cambiar el pino/abeto por algo como PVC. Esa madera no va a durar mucho con la sal y el agua. O se pudrirá o se pondrá negra
Might want to swap the pine/ spruce out for something like PVC. That wood's not going to last long with the salt and the water. It'll either rot or turn black

Si es cedro, no necesariamente se pudre. Seguro que se pondrá gris con el tiempo y va a volverse muy poroso.
If it's cedar it won't rot necessarily. It'll definitely turn gray over time and it's going to get very porous.

Deberías poder hacerlo con una sola lámina entera de PVC azec. 4x8x3/4. Lo bueno es que solo lo puedes lijar y limpiarlo con acetona para volver a sellarlo. O sea, si quieres ir por la opción cara, podrías hacerlo con HDPE
You should be able to do that with one whole sheet of PVC azec. 4x8x3/4. The nice thing is you can just sand it and wipe it down with acetone to reseal it. I mean if you want to go the expensive route you could do HDPE
