Mergulhando fundo como iniciante de 2 meses. TPA e awc nos dois aquários. Recomeçando os dois aquários a partir de aquários sujos que já estavam estabelecidos. Nova areia e rocha de recife seca que foi batida/estufada. Não faço ideia do que tô fazendo! Sempre fui uma aprendiz difícil! Talvez seja mais difícil, talvez não… mas bora encarar a jornada! E tentando evitar a fase feia! 😬
Diving deep as a 2 month beginner. Ato and awc on both tanks. Restarting both tanks from already established dirty tanks. New sand and dry blown up reef rock. No idea what I’m doing! Always been a hard learner! Maybe this is harder maybe not… but here’s to the journey! And trying to avoid the ugly stage! 😬

Eu comecei com aquário de água doce. Só fui pro salgado porque tava ficando entediado e basicamente estragou a água doce. Uma coisa que a água doce me ensinou foi focar na sua microflora e microfauna. Sua fase feia vai ser literalmente só um borrão. Você vai estar fora antes de perceber
I started off with fresh water. I only went to saltwater because I was getting bored and it basically masted fresh. One thing freshwater did teach me was focus on your microflora and microfauna. Your ugly stage will literally just be a blip. You'll be gone before you know it

Comecei com um 40 de água doce. Ainda tá forte como aquário plantado sem filtro.

Basicamente é tudo o que eu tenho no plantado de 60 galões. Eu só coloco um filtro nele pra manter a água em movimento. Tenho lagostins e eles fazem uma bagunça
That's basically all my 60 gallon plant it is. I literally only have a a filter on it just to keep water moving. I have crayfish and they make a mess

Eu só tenho um vasinho de onda/circuladorzinho. Tive uma grande explosão de algas no começo, mas agora tá cristalino e bem legal.
I just have a little wave maker. Battled a big Algae bloom in the beginning but now it’s crystal clear and pretty awesome.

Talvez você queira trocar o pinho/abeto por algo tipo PVC. Essa madeira não vai durar muito com o sal e a água. Ou vai apodrecer ou ficar preta
Might want to swap the pine/ spruce out for something like PVC. That wood's not going to last long with the salt and the water. It'll either rot or turn black

Se for cedro, não necessariamente vai apodrecer. Vai ficar cinza com o tempo e vai ficar bem poroso.
If it's cedar it won't rot necessarily. It'll definitely turn gray over time and it's going to get very porous.

Você consegue fazer isso com uma folha inteira de PVC azec. 4x8x3/4. A parte boa é que você só lixa e passa acetona pra selar de novo. Quer dizer, se você quiser ir pela rota cara, dá pra usar HDPE
You should be able to do that with one whole sheet of PVC azec. 4x8x3/4. The nice thing is you can just sand it and wipe it down with acetone to reseal it. I mean if you want to go the expensive route you could do HDPE
