I'm setting up a new 30 gallon fish and reef tank. Would like to know where you recommend purchasing my first fish from, probably a website. I plan to wait a few months to add Coral.

Quizás algunos peces de fuego púrpura, o un blenny estrellado... añade un par de peces payaso más adelante... quizás un pez halcón flama. Todos son resistentes y geniales para principiantes
Maybe some purple firefish, or a starry blenny....add a pair of clownfish down the road...perhaps a flame hawkfish.. All are hardy and great for beginners

Todos esos peces deberían irte bien en un acuario de 30 galones... la mayoría son peces bastante pequeños... solo necesitas lugares para esconderse en tu roca
All those fish should do well in a 30 gallon tank...most are fairly smaller sized fish...just need hiding places in your rock work

5-6 peces no más que eso... Tengo 5 en mi acuario de 40 galones.... ¡y ya son un puñado lol! Quizás añada mi royal gramma si puedo capturarla... pero tómatelo con calma, añade lentamente y ve cómo les va a tus peces... empieza con peces más dóciles primero como el blenny o el pez de fuego, ve cómo se van durante un tiempo...
5-6 fish no more than that...I have 5 in my 40 gallon....and they are a handful already lol might add my royal gramma if I can capture it...but take your time add slowly and see how your fish do...start will more docile fish 1st like the blenny or firefish see how they do for a while...

¡He comprado online con Top Aquatics Shelve aka TSA! Me lo recomendaron muy bien en HelloReef (tengo un acuario nano de 15gal) Fui a mi tienda de mascotas local aquí en Fairfax Va ¡y son alucinantes! Ponen en cuarentena todo el stock vivo antes de que llegue a las estanterías, así que no tengo que hacer mucho por mi parte, he traído todo mi stock vivo de allí y nunca he tenido ni el más mínimo problema
I’ve purchased online with Top Aquatics Shelve aka TSA ! Came highly recommends by HelloReef ( nano tank I own 15gal) I went to my local pet shop her in Fairfax Va and they are awesome! They quarantine all their live stock before it hits the shelves so I don’t have to do too much on my end, I’ve brought all my live stock from them and never had an issue one bit

Finding trusted online retailers is great! My preference is to find a local shop that you can biuld a relationship and trust with. This gives you the opportunity to watch the specific fish you'll want to buy for a while before adding it just to make sure he's healthy and nothing comes with him! I know Marine collectors does full quarantine for all there fish and has great customer service if online is your preference! The extra price is worth the value he brings!

Thank you for responding. Marine collections looks like a really nice place to purchase fish. Since I am a and my tank is not even cycled yet I would be afraid to spend those prices on fish. I'm sure the value is there but not for a brand new tank, at least not mine. Do you have any other suggestions?
