¿Consejos de alguien que tenga el acuario Fluval Evo de 13.5 galones con el mini skimmer Fluval Sea Protein? No tengo ni idea si el mío está haciendo algo y la verdad es que no puedo conseguir que el agua suba lo suficiente para llenar la taza. Me compré el skimmer porque estaba viendo una película aceitosa en la superficie del agua y aunque ajustar la dirección de las pequeñas bombas de agua ayudó un poco no fue suficiente.
Tips from someone who has the 13.5 Gallon Fluval Evo tank with the mini Fluval Sea Protein Skimmer? I have no clue if mines doing anything and I can’t really get the water to go up high enough to fill the cup. I got the skimmer bcuz I was getting an oily film on the top of my water and while adjusting the aim on the little water pumps helped a little it didn’t do enough.

Puedo ver agua cerca de la parte inferior de la taza cuando miro dentro, pero nunca llena la parte central ni siquiera toca la parte inferior. No sé si eso tenga sentido
I can see water near the bottom of the cup when I look inside, but it never fills the center part or even touches the bottom of it. Not sure if that make sense

Tengo el mío completamente abierto y ajusto dónde están los niveles con la perilla que está al lado de donde va la taza.
I have mine set full open and adjust where the levels are with the knob next to where the cup goes.

La perilla al lado de la taza abre y cierra una pequeña puerta detrás de la salida de aire. Aunque esté completamente abierta no llega. Lo mismo si está completamente cerrada. O incluso medio abierta. Si hubiera sabido que afinar esta cosa sería un dolor de cabeza no la habría comprado 😣
The knob next to the cup opens and closes a little door behind the vent. Even if it’s fully open it doesn’t reach. Same if it’s full closed. Or even half open. If I’d known tuning this thing would be such a pain I wouldn’t have gotten it 😣

Esas son las burbujas. Ajusto eso con la perilla que está al lado de la taza de recogida. Intenta conseguir que se vean así

Vale, aquí lo tienes. El amarillo que hay ahora es solo una mancha del uso anterior. Solo la he visto llegar a unos 1 cm de agua y eso fue el segundo día que la tenía, la tengo desde hace más de un mes. Quizá sí que funciona y solo estoy pensando demasiado en ello, pero para mí las burbujas no parecen lo suficientemente altas. No están en la taza inferior como en tu foto.
Alright here you go. The yellow in it now is just stained from previous use. I’ve only ever seen it get about a cm of water and that was the second day I had it, I’ve had it for over a month. Maybe it does work and I’m just over thinking it, but to me, the bubbles don’t seem high enough. They aren’t in the lower cup like your photo.

¿Recogés alguna agua amarillenta/marrón en la taza de recogida? Parece que son difíciles de configurar pero que funcionan.
Do you collect any yellowish/brownish water in the collection cup? They seem to be difficult to set but seem to work.
El mío está puesto de forma que las burbujas que hace suben hasta lo que parece la parte inferior de la sección que recoge el agua amarillenta
Mine is set so the bubbles it makes come up to what looks like the bottom of the part that collects the yellowish water

Nunca veo agua en él. Las burbujas no consigo que lleguen a la parte inferior de la taza como dijiste. Sin importar la configuración o lo lleno que esté mi acuario. Ahora mismo está manchado de amarillo alrededor de la parte inferior como si hubiera tenido agua en algún momento pero nunca más.
I never see any water in it. The bubbles I can’t get to reach the bottom of the cup like you said. No matter the setting or how full my aquarium is. Right now it’s stained yellowish around the bottom like it had water in it once but never again.
