Llevo queriendo uno mogollón 😂 pero mi acuario no es lo bastante grande para tener uno, y cuando veo vídeos y fotos de estos tíos tan molones, le enseño a mi mujer como porfa quiero uno mogollón ¿puedo ampliar el acuario una única vez? 😂
I’ve been wanting one sooo bad 😂 but my tank isn’t big enough to have one, and when I see videos and pictures of these cool little dude, I show my wife like please I want one soo bad can I upgrade my tank just one time 😂

Yo también, principalmente por eso empecé un acuario de agua salada solo para tener uno 🤣 ¿Qué tamaño de acuario tienes? Un mandarín puede vivir feliz en 30L, el mío es un 50L y parece muy feliz 😊
Me too , mainly why I started a saltwater tank just to get one 🤣 What size tank do you have ? A mandarin can live happily in a 30L , mine is a 50L and he seems very happy 😊

Tengo un acuario pequeño de 15 galones con dos peces payaso. Si hubiera sabido que estos tíos tan molones existían antes de coger el de 15 galones, me habría ido por lo menos a uno de 30 galones. Empecé pequeño porque es mi primera vez con agua salada y quería tener buena comprensión de todo antes de meterme de lleno y después cascarmela 😂 He leído que son bastante difíciles de cuidar según he investigado, ¿es verdad? Sé que los parámetros y el acuario necesitan estar establecidos y la dieta diaria son copépodos así que eso tiene que ser constante en el acuario.
I have a little 15 gallon with two clowns in it. If I knew that those cool little dudes existed before I got my 15 gallon, I would’ve went atleast a 30gallon. I started small because this is my first time with saltwater and I wanted to get good understabding of everything before going hands deep and then crash n burning 😂 I’ve read they are quite difficult to care for from research, is that true? I know the parameters and tank need to be established and Daily diet are copepods so that has to be constant in the tank for them.

Llevo solo 2 semanas con él pero estoy cultivando mis propios copépodos hace unos meses porque estoy muy preocupado de que se muera de hambre 🙈 No quiere comer nada más para mí pero una vez que tienes suficientes pods en el acuario para él no hay razón para que no prosperen 🥰
I only have him 2 weeks but I am culturing my own copepods the past few months as I’m so worried he’ll starve 🙈 He won’t eat anything else for me but once you have enough pods in the tank for him there’s no reason for them not to thrive 🥰

Vale, sí ese sería mi preocupación también mantener la colonia de copépodos para ellos, porque todos sabemos que los otros peces también les encantan los copépodos 😂. Sí he leído que es realmente todo de lo que se alimentan... pero todos los peces tienen su propia personalidad así que otros podrían alimentarse de otras cosas... ¿Qué tal es el cultivo de copépodos? He visto vídeos sobre ello y no parece muy difícil, pero hacer y ver son dos cosas diferentes. 😆
Gotcha, yeah that would be my worry to is sustaining the copepod colony for them, because we all know that the other fish love them copepods too 😂. Yeah I read up that’s really all they diet off of.. but all fish have their own personalities soo others could diet other things…How is the the culturing of copepods? I’ve watched videos on it and it doesn’t seem too hard, but doing and watching are two different things. 😆

Son geniales ¿verdad? Cogí uno criado en cautividad muy pequeño hace unos meses, ni siquiera medía una pulgada.
They are great aren't they. I picked up a tiny tank bred one a few months ago, she wasn't even an inch long.

Tiene poco más de una pulgada. Esperé meses por uno más grande porque me preocupaba que mi halcón llama le molestara pero son colegas 😁 El mandarín lo sigue por todo el acuario 🤣
He’s a little over an inch. I waited months for a larger one as I was worried my flame hawk would bother him but they are best buds 😁 The mandarin follows him all around the tank 🤣

No, es un acuario dominado por LPS así que no puedo tener demasiado flujo

Actualmente estoy lidiando con Dino's las últimas semanas después de estar fuera y los nutrientes se me agotaron. El balastro de mi UV se fue al mismo tiempo pero lo reinstalé el miércoles y los Dino's ya casi se han ido. También he empezado a usar Modern Reef bio bac, snow, diversity y activator juntos para limpiar las rocas y ya está funcionando increíblemente bien, solo lo he usado dos veces. Lo recomiendo mucho
I am currently battling Dino’s the past few weeks after I was away and my nutrients bottomed out. My ballast went in my uv the same time too but iv reinstalled it on Wednesday and the Dino’s are almost gone now. Iv also started using Modern Reef bio bac , snow , diversity and activator together to clean the rocks and it’s working amazingly already and Iv only used it twice. Highly recommend

Usé una cuando tenía Cyano por todas partes, la sopié hacia la columna de agua y al UV, desapareció en 2 días. No hace mucho para los Dino's aunque
I did when I had Cyano all over the rocks blew it all in the water column and into the uv it was gone in 2 days. Doesn’t do much for Dino’s though

nosotros no tenemos UV. solo un skimmer de proteínas. Estamos teniendo un tiempo difícil consiguiendo el flujo correcto, etc... ¡gracias por tus respuestas y tu acuario es simplemente hermoso!
we don't have a uv. just a protein skimmer. we're having a tough time getting the flow right, etc...thanks for your responses and your tank is just gorgeous!
