J'en veux tellement un 😂 mais mon bac n'est pas assez grand pour en avoir un, et quand je vois des vidéos et des photos de ces petits mecs cool, je les montre à ma femme genre s'il te plaît je veux tellement un peux-tu juste upgrader mon bac une fois 😂

I’ve been wanting one sooo bad 😂 but my tank isn’t big enough to have one, and when I see videos and pictures of these cool little dude, I show my wife like please I want one soo bad can I upgrade my tank just one time 😂

Moi aussi, c'est surtout pour ça que j'ai commencé un bac d'eau salée juste pour en avoir un 🤣 Tu as quel taille de bac ? Un mandarin peut vivre heureux dans un 30L, le mien c'est un 50L et il a l'air très heureux 😊

Me too , mainly why I started a saltwater tank just to get one 🤣 What size tank do you have ? A mandarin can live happily in a 30L , mine is a 50L and he seems very happy 😊

J'ai un petit 15 gallons avec deux clowns dedans. Si j'avais su que ces petits mecs cool existaient avant d'avoir mon 15 gallons, j'aurais au moins pris un 30 gallons. J'ai commencé petit parce que c'est ma première fois avec l'eau salée et je voulais bien comprendre comment tout fonctionne avant de me lancer à fond et de tout crasher 😂 J'ai lu que c'est assez difficile à s'occuper d'eux d'après mes recherches, c'est vrai? Je sais que les paramètres et le bac doivent être établis et qu'ils se nourrissent quotidiennement de copépodes donc il faut que ce soit constant dans le bac.

I have a little 15 gallon with two clowns in it. If I knew that those cool little dudes existed before I got my 15 gallon, I would’ve went atleast a 30gallon. I started small because this is my first time with saltwater and I wanted to get good understabding of everything before going hands deep and then crash n burning 😂 I’ve read they are quite difficult to care for from research, is that true? I know the parameters and tank need to be established and Daily diet are copepods so that has to be constant in the tank for them.

Je l'ai que depuis 2 semaines mais je cultive mes propres copépodes depuis quelques mois tellement j'ai peur qu'il meure de faim 🙈 Il ne veut rien d'autre pour moi mais une fois que tu as assez de pods dans le bac pour lui il n'y a aucune raison qu'ils ne prospèrent pas 🥰

I only have him 2 weeks but I am culturing my own copepods the past few months as I’m so worried he’ll starve 🙈 He won’t eat anything else for me but once you have enough pods in the tank for him there’s no reason for them not to thrive 🥰

OK ouais ce serait mon souci aussi d'entretenir la colonie de copépodes pour eux, parce qu'on sait tous que les autres poissons adorent les copépodes aussi 😂. Ouais j'ai lu que c'est vraiment tout ce qu'ils mangent.. mais tous les poissons ont leurs propres personnalités donc d'autres pourraient manger d'autres choses…Comment ça se passe la culture de copépodes? J'ai regardé des vidéos sur ça et ça ne semble pas trop difficile, mais regarder et faire c'est deux choses différentes. 😆

Gotcha, yeah that would be my worry to is sustaining the copepod colony for them, because we all know that the other fish love them copepods too 😂. Yeah I read up that’s really all they diet off of.. but all fish have their own personalities soo others could diet other things…How is the the culturing of copepods? I’ve watched videos on it and it doesn’t seem too hard, but doing and watching are two different things. 😆

Ils sont super, non? J'en ai pris un petit d'élevage il y a quelques mois, il faisait même pas un pouce de long.

They are great aren't they. I picked up a tiny tank bred one a few months ago, she wasn't even an inch long.

Le sien fait un peu plus d'un pouce. J'ai attendu des mois pour en avoir un plus grand parce que j'avais peur que mon flame hawk le dérange mais ils sont meilleurs potes 😁 Le mandarin le suit partout dans le bac 🤣

He’s a little over an inch. I waited months for a larger one as I was worried my flame hawk would bother him but they are best buds 😁 The mandarin follows him all around the tank 🤣

Non c'est un bac dominé par des LPS donc je peux pas avoir trop de flux

No it’s an LPS dominated tank so can’t have too much flow

Je suis actuellement en train de combattre des Dino's depuis quelques semaines après avoir été absent et mes nutriments ont chuté. Mon ballast de ma UV a lâché au même moment mais je l'ai réinstallé mercredi et les Dino's ont presque disparu maintenant. J'ai aussi commencé à utiliser Modern Reef bio bac, snow, diversity et activator ensemble pour nettoyer les roches et ça marche incroyablement bien déjà et je l'ai utilisé que deux fois. Je le recommande vivement

I am currently battling Dino’s the past few weeks after I was away and my nutrients bottomed out. My ballast went in my uv the same time too but iv reinstalled it on Wednesday and the Dino’s are almost gone now. Iv also started using Modern Reef bio bac , snow , diversity and activator together to clean the rocks and it’s working amazingly already and Iv only used it twice. Highly recommend

Je l'ai utilisée quand j'avais de la Cyano partout sur les roches, je l'ai soufflée dans la colonne d'eau et dans l'UV et c'était parti en 2 jours. Ça fait pas grand chose pour les Dino's par contre

I did when I had Cyano all over the rocks blew it all in the water column and into the uv it was gone in 2 days. Doesn’t do much for Dino’s though

on a pas d'UV. juste un écumeur. on a du mal à bien calibrer le flux, etc...merci pour tes réponses et ton bac est juste magnifique !

we don't have a uv. just a protein skimmer. we're having a tough time getting the flow right, etc...thanks for your responses and your tank is just gorgeous!
