Mi dispiace per la tua perdita, Una cosa simile è successa al mio Scopas Tang, onestamente pensavo che non ce l'avrebbe fatta ma ce l'ha fatta e da allora ha fatto un recupero. Adesso non sono sicuro al 100% di cosa avesse ma sembrava simile a quello che aveva il tuo pesce. Ho una foto sul mio profilo se vuoi dare un'occhiata e confrontare. Ho aggiunto una medicina al loro cibo che era Focus e Metroplex dalla Seachem, uso anche Selcon poiché aiuta a potenziare il loro sistema immunitario.
Sorry for your loss, Similar thing happened to my Scopas Tang, honestly thought it wasn’t going to make it but it did and since then has made a recovery. Now I’m not 100% sure what it had but it looked similar to what your fish had. I have a picture on my profile if you’d like to take a look and compare. I did add a medication their food which was Focus and Metroplex from Seachem, I also use Selcon as this helps boost their immune system.

Quando si tratta un pesce, è fondamentale agire velocemente non appena noti i sintomi. Di solito comincio con Prazipro, e poi dopo 2-3 giorni introduco il rame. Una volta raggiunto il livello terapeutico, aggiungo antibiotici per prevenire infezioni alle branchie. Però in questo caso il tempo non è stato dalla mia parte. When treating a fish, it’s crucial to act quickly as soon as you notice symptoms. I typically begin with Prazipro, and then after 2-3 days, I introduce copper. Once I reach the therapeutic level, I add antibiotics to prevent gill infections. However, in this case, time was not on my side. If I encounter a similar situation again, I plan to start with a 30-minute hydrogen peroxide treatment before proceeding with medication. I've treated many fish, but this particular case left me uncertain about the specific disease affecting the fish.

D'accordo sul bagno h2o2 prima. Ma sono curioso perché aspetti 2-3 giorni dopo il Prazipro liquido prima di iniziare il rame? Itto o velluto, il trattamento è lo stesso.
Agree on the h2o2 bath first. But im curious why you wait 2-3 days after prazipro liquid before starting copper? Ich or velvet, treatment is the same.

Il giorno 3, il mio livello di rame è a 0,25, e aumenta a 0,44 il giorno 4. Entro il giorno 6, quando finisco il Prazipro, il livello di rame è intorno a 0,50. A quel punto, aumenterò il rame ai livelli terapeutici e inizierò ad aggiungere antibiotici. Preferisco non mescolare troppi medicamenti contemporaneamente, poiché potrebbe non essere benefico per il pesce.
On day 3, my copper level is at 0.25, and it increases to 0.44 by day 4. By day 6, when I finish prazipro, the copper level is around 0.50. At that point, I’ll raise the copper to therapeutic levels and start adding antibiotics. I prefer not to mix too many medications at once, as it might not be beneficial for the fish.

Con i pesci sensibili al rame un aumento graduale è giustificato. Ma quando un'epidemia di itto è arrivata a questo punto ti suggerisco di andare direttamente ai livelli terapeutici di rame e prazi e nitrofurazone. È l'unica possibilità. I Tang non sono sensibili al rame come i wrasse ma anche così se non hai scelta. È una bomba a orologeria. Soprattutto se è velluto.
With copper sensitive fish a slow ramp is warranted. But when this far along an ich outbreak id suggest go straight to therapeutic levels of copper and prazi and nitrofurazone. Its the only chance. Tangs aren't copper sensitive like wrasse but even then if you have no choice. Its a time bomb. Especially if its velvet.

Sto tenendo d'occhio questa vasca. Ho notato un comportamento di sfregamento sulla sabbia in alcuni pesci oggi, quindi sto pianificando di mettere in quarantena tutti loro. Condividerò un video più tardi oggi, del powder blue tang mentre si comportava normalmente prima di morire.
I'm keeping a close eye on this tank. I've noticed some sand-scratching behavior in a few fish today, so I'm planning to quarantine all of them. I will share a video later today,of the powder blue tang as he was behaving normally before he passed away.

Il modo migliore per eradicare l'itto dalla tua vasca di barriera e prevenire ulteriori infezioni è rimuovere tutti i tuoi pesci per il trattamento in una vasca di quarantena e lasciare morire il parassita nel display "in riposo". Tratta tutti i tuoi pesci con medicazione a base di rame in una vasca QT separata e mantienili isolati per 4-8 settimane. Una volta che il parassita non riesce a trovare un ospite nella tua vasca di esposizione, presumibilmente morirà completamente dopo aver completato il suo ciclo vitale (approssimativamente 4 settimane).
The best way to eradicate Ich from your reef aquarium and prevent further infection is to remove all your fish for treatment in a quarantine tank and let the parasite die out in the "fallow" display. Treat all your fish with copper medication in a separate QT tank and keep them isolated for 4-8 weeks. Once the parasite is not able to find a host in your display tank, it will presumably die off completely after it runs through its lifecycle (roughly 4 weeks).

I’ve started doing more research on this since it’s been a common questions. Seems like velvet is a tinier particle about the size of powder sugar. While ich is about the size of salt. ( your pic looks more like salt to me ) Also fish don’t survive velvet very long. If this has been more than a few days that would lead me to believe ich.

Unfortunately, the fish passed away suddenly. I noticed a significant color change, turning a drake-like purple, and it began hiding—behavior that was unusual for it. I had attempted to quarantine the fish, but it didn’t survive. I suspect the display tank may be the source of the illness, as I typically treat my fish before introducing them to it.

I noticed it two days ago; at first, I thought it was just sand stuck to the fish's skin. However, today the entire fish was covered in white spots, and it looks really bad. The fish's behavior has changed too; it doesn't move much and keeps hiding away.
