Ho notato del bianco intorno alla bocca di questo pesce pagliaccio più piccolo circa 2 settimane fa. È peggiorato lentamente. Il pesce pagliaccio più grande ha quasi 4 anni e ho messo insieme questi due circa 3 mesi fa.
Da quello che ho letto online alcuni dicono punture o aggressione dal pesce pagliaccio più grande. Non ho davvero niente che possa pungere tranne i vermi setolosi. Non ho mai visto aggressione da questa coppia ma immagino potrebbe succedere quando non sono a casa.
Entrambi i pesci pagliaccio sembrano comportarsi bene e mangiano normalmente.
Ho appena isolato il piccolo in una vasca di quarantena da 15g. Ho alcuni farmaci a portata di mano. Maracyn, Metroplex, Kanaplex e paraguard. Ero propenso verso Maracyn o Kanaplex. Mi piacerebbe sentire se qualcuno ha idee o ha visto qualcosa di simile.

I noticed white around the mouth of this smaller clownfish about 2 weeks ago. It has slowly been getting worse. The bigger clowfish is almost 4 years old and I paired these two up about 3 months ago.
From googling some say stinging or aggression from the bigger clown. I dont really have anything that can sting except bristle worms. I have never seen aggression from this pair but I guess could happen when I’m away.
Both clowns seems to be behaving fine and are eating normally.
I just isolated the small one in a 15g quarantine tank. I have a few drugs on hand. Maracyn, Metroplex, Kanaplex and paraguard. Was leaning towards Maracyn or Kanaplex. I’d love to hear if anyone has thoughts or seen something similar.

Non credo. Ho sentito dire che la brook uccide in pochi giorni. Ce l'ha da almeno due settimane e si comporta normalmente. Sono propenso a pensare che sia danno dai pesci pagliaccio che combattono o un'infezione fungina. Anche se non ho idea per ora hah
I don’t believe so. I’ve heard brook kills within a few days. He’s had this for at least two weeks and is acting normal. I’m leaning toward damage from the clowns fighting or fungal infection. Though I have no idea yet hah

Possibile. Penso che andrò con una combinazione di Maracyn e ParaGuard (a meno che qualcuno non dica diversamente. I farmaci arrivano domani). Ho usato questa combinazione per trattare con successo macchie bianche sui fianchi del mio Anthias un po' di tempo fa.
Possibly. I think I’m going to go with a combo of Maracyn and ParaGuard (unless someone says otherwise. The meds don’t arrive until tomorrow) . I used this combo to successfully treat white patches on the sides of my Anthias a while back.

Definitivamnte tratta per batterica e osserva come progredisce. Il problema qui è che questa infezione impedisce di mangiare il gonfiore e lo stress deve scendere abbastanza velocemente così non muore di fame. Io spegnerei anche le luci nella sua vasca di quarantena quando non la stai osservando.
Definitely treat for bacterial and watch to see how it progresses. The kicker here this infection prevents eating the swelling and stress needs to come down fast enough he doesn't starve. I'd also kill the lights on his quarantine tank when your not observing him.

Sembra che stia crescendo. Praticamente tutti i trattamenti che ho dicono batterica e fungina. Kanaplex, Maracyn e ParaGuard haha. Non so se ce n'è uno che preferisci o che hai usato?
It does seem to be growing. Basically all the treatments I have say bacterial and fungal. Kanaplex, Maracyn and ParaGuard haha. Idk if there’s one you prefer or have used?

Buono a sapersi. Ho appena ricevuto questo trio per posta. Vado a iniziare Kanaplex stasera perché penso che il fungo sia possibile. E poi possibilmente metro/focus domani. Vado ad alternare i giorni poiché entrambi sono dosati ogni altro giorno.
Good to know. Just got this trio in the mail. I’m gonna start Kanaplex tonight as I think fungal is possible. And then possibly metro/focus tomorrow. Going to alternate days as they both are dosed every other day.

Vuoi mescolare il focus con Kanaplex anche. Infatti puoi mescolarli entrambi con focus, un cibo congelato e refrigerare il resto per il dosaggio di domani. Ma il nitrofurazone aiuterà a lenire e alleviare qualsiasi dolore.
You want to mix the focus with kanaplex too. In fact you can mix them both w focus, one frozen food and refrigerate rest for tomorrow's. But the nitrofurazone will help sooth and ease dealing with any soreness.
