and it brought some velvet to my tank it’s my first time posting but what do you guys think of the treatment I’m using please give suggestions 😬😄

Ho appena beccato il velluto nella mia vasca e ho dovuto mettere in quarantena tutti i pesci che erano ancora vivi…il trattamento che mi è stato consigliato è il rame ma non dosarlo nella vasca principale. Tieni solo coralli e invertebrati e aspetta 6-8 settimane prima di rimettere i pesci. Dosa il serbatoio di quarantena per lo stesso periodo altrimenti lo porterai di nuovo nella vasca principale. Il velluto vive solo se ci sono pesci.
Just got velvet in my tank and I had to QT all the fish that were still alive…the treatment I got recommended is copper but don’t dose it in the main display. Keep corals and inverts only and wait 6-8 weeks to add the fish back. Dose the QT tank for the same period otherwise you’ll bring it back to the main display. Velvet only live if there’s fish.

Oh no spero che i tuoi pesci stiano bene adesso. Li ho tutti in quarantena tranne un goby vedetta che ho avuto difficoltà a catturare 🥲ma penso che ordinerò un trattamento al rame e spero bene. Grazie
Oh no hope your fish are doing ok now. I have all of them in the qt except a watchman goby that I’ve had trouble catching 🥲but I think I’m going to order a copper treatment and hope for the best. Thank you

Non penso che Herbtana sia una cura efficace. Credo che sopprime solo i parassiti quindi dovresti continuare a usarla nella tua vasca principale finché hai pesci, altrimenti i parassiti potrebbero tornare una volta che smetti. Inoltre non mi piace che sia una formulazione proprietaria quindi non sappiamo cosa contiene. Ti consiglio di trattare con rame invece che con Herbtana.
I don't think herbtana is an effective cure. I believe it just suppresses the parasites so you'd have to continue using it in your display tank as long as you have fish, or the parasites could return once you stop. I also don't like that it's a proprietary formulation so we don't know what it contains. I'd recommend treating with copper rather than Herbtana.

I'm not sure. I wouldn't recommend mixing the medications. I'd ask in the forum I mentioned. They are very knowledgeable.
