Hello, I’ve got a waterbox 20 cube at the moment and I want to get a second larger tank. I was looking for some suggestions on brands.
I want a peninsula but I think that the waterbox 4820 is a tad too large and bit out of budget for me. I would prefer a bit shorter about 3 foot long. I’m not too strapped for money but the more I have left over the better equipment I can get.
My overall budget is $4000AUD but preferably the tank would over cost $1500-$2500AUD. Any and all recommendations would be appreciated.

Buying tanks new is a waste of money! “coming from someone who isnt careful with money” idk how to say that without sounding like a tool bag. 🤷🏼♂️ take it how you want. If you just gotta have it now I guess that’s what you’re doing… otherwise let some other sucker take the loss for you. My most recent score was about $16,500, everything is two yrs or less old. Picked it all up for 3k. If you add the corals and rock work over 20k. my other two tanks were within 3 yrs old when I got them. Paid about 1/4 for one and 1/3 for the other. Idk how your used market is over there but in the US there is no return in this hobby… deals all over fb market place.

I’ve heard UNS peninsula AIO are pretty good, Fiji cube also makes a 40 gallon AIO peninsula

Red Sea peninsula maybe worth pricing!
Oh I’m pretty new to the hobby (Marine Side) I was under the impression that Red Sea wasn’t particularly reliable.
I had a peak, they definitely fit what I would like, however the smallest of the peninsulas are just over 4 grand. However they do come with atos and lights. Great suggestion I will 100% keep that in mind
You’re buying Red Sea name. I have a complete red sea set up/ecosystem. Not super impressed! A lot of the Red Sea equipment is about a yr old and have had a few problems and frustrations with the gear. Love my water boxes and went hydros for automation on those two. Had apex… pain in the ass!!!!!!
