Took about a month but sure enough my clownfish finally dived in!

Did you have to do anything to get them to go in?

No, other than practice patience. They spent a few weeks getting near it and checking it out and then one night they dove in.

I did try feeding them near the anemone with tongs early on but I don’t think it did anything. How long have you been trying to get them to host?

Around like 3 months maybe 🤔

I was told by my LFS that some captive breed clowns just won’t host and some have said eventually they will. I would try hand feeding the clowns and try to get them to make contact with the anemone

That’s awesome your clown finally took the plunge! Bubble tip anemones seem tricky sometimes but they look so chill together once they bond. Did you notice any changes in the anemone’s tentacle movement when the clown first went in?

Not really, the anemone kept moving a lot but since the clowns started going in it hasn’t moved
