1:43am never seen him out. 2nd day of having him. Decided on to name him TentaCruel if you know Pokémon You know Tentacool 🐙 “kinda worried him not eating” Tank been running Copepod population is like crazy in this tank. I’ve read Baby Octopus feed on pods But like how lol. I tried small piece of Shrimp, Clam on a HalfShell. Right now I just tried putting a squirt of Marinecube mix with mysis, krill and other additives. Hopefully he can catch it. There’s also really really tiny hermit crabs like micro red legs around the tank. Hopefully he can feed off those 🤷🏽‍♂️

Curiosity has me. We’ve had the desire to keep one or a Cuttlefish. We’ve had great success previously with many hard to keep species. By chance, do you have a weighted lid? One thing we learned from our Eel friends is how much they love to test vulnerabilities for escape in the tank. We opted to tape (excessively) the lid down, which mostly mitigated the Eel to stop trying to open it. I can only imagine that this Octopus will try similarly. I’ve heard and seen that they can go scavenging at night where there are other tanks and food nearby. Take their presence back in the tank in the morning with a grain of salt, they are known to return to the tank after scavenging. I could imagine a scenario where they woke me up to feed them in the middle of the night. 🤣
