Added 3 hammer corals 3 days ago that were shipped, 2 of them adapted well, the larger 2 head doesn’t seem to like something. Possible that they are sensitive to the higher nitrates? 8 ALK, 390 Calcium, 1350 MAG, 25 NO3, .10 PO4

Those hammer corals can be tricky with nitrate sensitivity for sure. Your alk and calcium look solid so maybe try lowering nitrates a bit and see if that helps the larger head bounce back. Also love how your zoas and bubble coral are really popping under that blue lighting!

Woke up this morning and they had some brown developing on the crown, so I just took them out scrubbed them and have them in an iodine dip.

Sounds like it could be the start of brown jelly disease. Be very careful, as it can spread fast and wipe out all your euphyllia corals (ask me how I know 😂).

That doesn’t sound like a good time, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for it. So far the others are doing well.
