Ok guys. Not sure what to do about him. He’s still alive and I have him in a little box. But idk. Can he be saved?

Got to reef2reef and post a thread with the emergency tag. Tag @jayhemdal and @vetteguy
Is reef2reef better? Will download now
Reef2reef has a lot of long time hobbyist that can help you with this, there is definitely some pluses to reefbay but for advice I would go to reef2reef. Jay is an aquarium veterinarian he will let you know what to do.
Yeah I love leaning on both!
Oh man that’s rough to see. Sometimes puffers are just so curious they get themselves into trouble. Fingers crossed he perks up for you!
Thanks!
Puffer? Isn't this a watchman goby? You can try medications but thats harder when you treat the whole display tank. Can he be moved to an isolation tank?
It’s actually a blue spot jawfish. I wish I had another tank
Thats ok. Your isolation box it is. You have a chance. Its not velvet. Just make sure he eats if you can.
Alright! I tried to feed yesterday and he took one little piece but then nothing. I’m going to give him another shot today while in the box to see if that helps. During the day he seems okay, it’s later at night that his body gives out again
Can you guys still see these posts?
Yes ... I believe so.
Weird, someone commended saying they can’t
I can't see that in your post. You can talk to @billy if an issue. 3 questions. 1. Hows your Jawfish today? Plan on keeping i. Isolation awhile. 2. What are you going to do with your tankmate or this guy that don't get along? Going to need a plan, right?
1. Not good today. Won’t eat, shedding even more skin, almost lifeless. I was going to get a little 5 gallon but I think that will definitely kill him. 2. Not sure tbh, might look at selling both the dotty back and hogfish since they both seem on the aggressive side. Just don’t know how
Update:
Sending more photos from today. Not fully dead. Is it worth creating a little 5 gallon for him?
I hate to say it but he looks like he's ready to move on. If he can't swim, can't eat its only a matter of time. Might be more humane to put him under. But im no vet and I hate giving people bad news.
Not bad, just reality. He actually passed about 15 minutes after posting that
Sorry buddy. You did you best
Thank you! You have been great!
He needs a bigger box and there’s no flow in there. Put in a bigger isolation box and maybe even add an air stone because there’s no circulation which means very low oxygen.
Yeah I only kept him in there for limited amount of time but you are right. Unfortunately, even out of the box he still passed
Sorry for your loss, bro. It’s tough man. I had a flame hawk that got beat up by my tangs and before I realized he was getting beat up he was dead.
That’s exactly what happened here. Thanks

Oh no! He looks like his fins are all shredded- perhaps too much flow if he’s stuck in the overflow? Or aggression from another tank mate? With enough care and direct feeding in his own safe box- maybe the fins can heal. Fin damage isn’t permanent, but this looks pretty serious. I wish you the best in healing your fish. I’d isolate it and make sure it’s fed, and look for maybe some medicine for fish injuries in case this was a recent attack. Keep us updated
Yeah not sure but I noticed the hog fish was pecking at him. He’s in a tiny little box bow
