It looks like a tube but nothing comes out . I've checked it during lights out but never see a duster or web coming out . Can I just remove by tugging on it ? This particular zoa is on one of my foundation rocks so dipping I can't do . As far as flow , I upgraded to an AI orbit 2 that added more flow and current about 5 days ago and already see a huge difference, except that little tube looking thing.
The shadows make it look like algae , but there is not any algae in main tank. I run an algae turf scrubber.
That little tube looks like it could be a worm tube or maybe a tiny sponge growing in there. If it’s not bothering the polyps and nothing’s coming out, it might just be one of those harmless hitchhikers in the tank! Keep an eye on it but your zoas look happy and colorful!
Ok . I'll leave it be for now , and the zoas are fine. Thanks

Yo that looks like some kinda algae or slime? Maybe dip the zoas and keep an eye on flow?
