Pest? ID Needed
I bought "mushroom rock from a local reefer selling thier livestock for a move. The rock has several green mushrooms and what looks like blue gsp? But it also has this other guy. He sits between 2 mushrooms and they seem unaffected by each other. He comes out of the rock itself and will dart back in if he senses danger (or a change in lighting). It has a fan like end with blue dots. Looks like long eyelashes in a circle narrow at the bottom and wider on top. Like a jet refueling arm. Ive tried to get good pictures with various filters and flash lights and most he blurred with out.
I think this is a feather duster worm maybe? If so not a pest. But I don't want to be wrong and put an unknown pest in my tank.

My cheapy prob Chinese non adjustable quarantine tank light? Lol. Wonder what they will look like in the display tank.

Ty for the vote. Gee Idk. Aptasia typically comes up the stalk to a plate like flat circle and the tentacles come up from those edges.

I know the pictures are hard to see. I see something like this from the top and can't see any of the stalk

Hard to tell in the blue picture. Can you circle where it is in the white light picture? If it’s coming out of a white tube then it is a feather duster.
The white pictures barely got him as if I shi e a flashlight on him or change the lights or my shadow passes him he darts in. I can't see his tube as it in inside the rock. Ive tried yellow, orange filters, even together and get nada great shot. Ive been trying to get a good picture for days. Still at it.
I'm unsure how to add more to the original thread but can here. I think its a better shot.
Looks pretty feathery. It’s not aptasia so thats good… aha
